There’s nothing quite like stepping out of a hot sauna and straight into a spring-fed, natural-temperature river, surrounded by the incredible landscape of the Afan Valley.

Our unique sauna and plunge experience combines the heat of a modern electric log sauna with the cold of our man-made, spring-fed river — creating an experience that feels a world away from the everyday.

The sauna comfortably accommodates up to 6 people, and sessions are booked in one-hour slots. Come on your own, bring a few friends, book a private session or join a shared experience — the choice is yours.

Inside the sauna, the electric log heater provides a consistent, controllable heat without the smoke, mess or constant topping-up that comes with a traditional wood-burning sauna.

Then comes the plunge.

Our river runs at natural environmental temperatures, meaning it changes with the seasons. During the winter months, the water can hover just above — or get very close to — freezing. It’s cold, invigorating and completely natural.

And then there’s the view.

With the valley stretching out in front of you, the combination of steaming sauna, cold water and endless mountain views creates an experience that feels almost like an infinity pool overlooking the Afan Valley.
